Another season of Married at First Sight just premiered on Netflix! Married at First Sight season 13 is now available. For those who are behind on the show or just watching it slowly via Netflix, that means you can catch up with the latest six couples to enter this daring social experiment.
One couple featured in Married at First Sight season 13 is Myrla Féria and Gil Cuero. Like everyone else on the show, the two got married upon first meeting one another, and we followed their relationship throughout the season. Where do they end up? And are they still together in 2023?
When Married at First Sight season 13 premiered in July 2021, Myrla was 34, and Gil was 35. Their birthdays have not been reported online, so it’s unclear exactly how old they are now, but Myrla is now 35-36, and Gil is 36-37.
Myrla and Gil aren’t together anymore. They actually broke up at the end of the season, just a couple of weeks after they both said yes on their decision day.
During the reunion, the pair revealed they had split. Myrla said she felt a lack of chemistry. At the reunion, Gil also told viewers how he’d moved in with Myrla and felt blindsided by the breakup.
However, in a follow-up interview, Myrla alleged that they broke up because she felt Gil had been dishonest with her about his finances.
"“I became aware of some things post-decision day that I was not okay with. Gil and I had multiple conversations about this and how it made me feel. He did not see or acknowledge his actions/behavior in a way that was conducive to trust/respect in a marriage. There was some dishonesty I discovered, as well. All of these things led to me making the decision to end the marriage.”"
In September 2022, Monsters & Critics reported that Myrla had shared an Instagram post with a mysterious man, seemingly debuting her new beau. However, that post has since been deleted, and it doesn’t look like Myrla has posted anything else, at least not recently, so we’re assuming she’s single or keeping her relationship private.
It’s unclear if Gil is dating anyone specifically right now, but in July 2022, he did say he was back on the dating scene.
