Demon Slayer season 3 is coming to Netflix in May 2023

We’ve been waiting a long time for more Demon Slayer to hit Netflix. That wait is coming to an end in May 2023. Demon Slayer season 3 is coming to Netflix US next month.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is the anime series based on the popular manga of the same name. The third season covers the Entertainment District Arc, and it consists of 11 episodes. All of those episodes will be released on Netflix in May 2023.

Officially, Demon Slayer season 3 will be released on May 1, 2023. The news was announced via the Demon Slayer Twitter account. Check out the tweet below.

Spread the word that 11 new episodes of Demon Slayer are coming to Netflix on May 1. It’s definitely going to be one of the biggest Netflix new releases of the month.

At the time of publishing, there are two seasons of Demon Slayer on Netflix right now:

The first season of the series consists of 26 episodes, while Mugen Train is only seven episodes. So, there are 33 episodes available to stream on Netflix right now.

When Entertainment District drops on May 1, there will be 44 episodes of the series available to stream on Netflix US.

Swordsmith Village, the new season of Demon Slayer, premieres on April 9. Unfortunately, fans will not be able to watch Swordsmith Village on Netflix. The new episodes will be available to stream on Crunchyroll weekly.

Eventually, we expect Swordsmith Village to be available to stream on Netflix, but that’s not going to be anytime soon. For instance, fans just waited almost a year and a half since Demon Slayer: Entertainment District was released until it will be available to stream on Netflix.

If that happens with Swordsmith Village, we’d expect it will stream on Netflix in the summer or fall 2024.
