Nicola Peltz has taken to Instagram to congratulate her father-in-law, David Beckham, on his recently released Netflix documentary, however, some fans don’t approve of her choice of pictures.
Beckham hit streaming giant Netflix this week, a docuseries that follows the football legend as he unpacks the highs and lows of his incredible sporting career.
Nicola Peltz congratulates David Beckham in ‘odd’ way
Taking to her 3 million Instagram followers, the 28-year-old congratulated her father-in-law on his new series by posting a photodump of photos from the UK premiere.
However, David was nowhere to be seen in the slide until the fourth picture, a family group photo at the star-studded celebrity premiere.
Before that, Peltz posted a number of photos of herself and her husband, Brooklyn embracing in some PDA before their public outing.
In the front pic, the actress can be seen smiling for the camera with her leg around her husband as he romantically kisses her cheek.
In another, the eldest Beckham kid can be seen touching his wife’s behind in a hotel room.
A solo pic is also included before David features, as Nicola poses for a bathroom pic with her leg on the sink. The star can be seen wearing a red leather blazer dress, paired with black tights and stilettos.
Nicola and Brooklyn, who recently mourned a tragic loss, have been married for just over a year, and have been dating since 2019.
Fans think Nicola’s choice of pictures are ‘strange’
Although the documentary has had fans hooked to their TV across the globe, Peltz’s post was not one for fans to come together and talk about the show.
In fact, her comments have been bombarded with fans declaring it ‘strange’ congratulating her father in law by posting ‘raunchy pictures’ with his son.
“You set up a camera to take raunchy pics with your husband to congratulate his dad? [thinking emoji]” questioned one confused fan.
Another penned: “Very strange photos for congratulating your father-in-law.”
One fan even went as far as unfollowing the star after seeing the post: “Unfollowed. Sorry super odd. Congratulations Beckham the legend. The rest in this post is uncomfortable.”
“Weird choice and/or order of pictures to congratulate your father-in-law, one might say [laughing emojis]” wrote another.
